Jorie Fleming I began my career at Oceanside Building and Realty working with my parents while still in college. I relocated to Boston where I worked in a highly competitive sales environment before returning to the Cape and Oceanside in 1997. Now 13 years later I am proud to be affiliated with William Raveis Real Estate, the larges family ownded Real Estate company in the Northeast. This affiliation provides me with all the strength and support of a large company while allowing me to continue to use my experience in construction and development and offer the same valuable assistance and personalized approach with any real estate transaction. Ray Schuster After completing my career as an educator in the Waterbury, CT public school system, my wife Linda and I made our long-awaited move to Eastham in 1997 where I joined the staff of Oceanside Realty in July of that year. My real estate experience began as a part-time venture while still in Connecticut and has become a full-time experience since arriving on the Cape. Personal service, small office concept and attention to detail are the Oceanside Building & Realty attributes that drew me to the agency. Betty Fleming In 1976, Betty moved with her husband Dave and four children from Connecticut to a very quiet Eastham. After many years of working as a Registered Nurse, Betty obtained her Real Estate Broker’s license. In 1978 she began 20+ years of helping Buyers and Sellers with their real Estate needs on the Lower Cape. Oceanside Building and Realty, Past and Present.
Oceanside Realty is now proudly affiliated with William Raveis Real Estate, the largest family owned real estate company in the Northeast. In the early 1980's, Dave and Betty Fleming formed Oceanside Building & Realty which is now located in the Eastham Common office building on Route 6 in Eastham. Over the years, Dave and Betty strived to maintain the "small" office approach while utilizing all the marketing and technical strategies usually found in larger real estate offices.
Oceanside Realty has been a perennial leader in Eastham real estate sales. On the construction side, Dave and his skilled crew at Oceanside Building have built more than 500 custom homes and have developed hundreds of lasting relationships with many repeat customers.
We pride ourselves as being a customer friendly office and give both sellers and buyers a high degree of personalized service. We have maintained the "small" office approach in order to better serve our customers and clients. Our buyers and sellers receive the professional attention of our experienced and dedicated staff and benefit from our aggressive marketing and advertising plan. Customer Quote: "We can heartily endorse Oceanside Realty and Building, having enjoyed two homes they have built and participated in the land purchase. In November, Betty helped us through a testy negotiation for a lot and we agreed on a minor alteration of Dave's standard Cape plan. Ground was broken early January and we moved in on Memorial Day weekend. Dave worked with us on various minor changes and selections of millwork and materials, achieving a result we were delighted with. We were very impressed with Dave's communication and direct attack on problems- quickly responding with alternatives and ideas to minimize cost. When we decided to retire to the Cape with a house design we had developed over several years, we again called on Oceanside to assist with the sale of the first house, purchase of another lot, and construction of our dream home. We closed on the land and broke ground August and moved in on January 8. This house was a totally custom, complex project and Dave had a particularly taxing building schedule that year.
